Santa Clarita Valley

The City of Santa Clarita is broken down into six communities. Valencia, Saugus, Canyon Country, Newhall, and Castaic. There are three adjoining community’s locals consider part of the town, Castaic, Acton and Aqua Dulce. Although the city has a rich small town heritage, Santa Clarita’s population in 2020 of 290,000 makes it the 3rd largest city in Los Angeles County. With an impressive median household income of $100,000.

Santa Clarita once considered a bedroom community currently has 30M SF of industrial and commercial facilities with 8M SF of land development approved. Major industries are Aerospace & Defense, Bioscience &Medical Devices, Advanced Manufacturing, Digital & Entertainment, Information Technology, Corporate Headquarters & Professional Services. Boston Scientific, Honda Performance Development, Woodward, Sunkist, Scorpion Internet Marketing are a few employers that call Santa Clarita home. Santa Clarita is now one of the most filmed places in California. SCV has thousands of locations that can double for any place in the world. It has 10 movie ranches, over 30 sound stages, low cost permits and is located in the industry’s desired “30-mile Zone.” It is common to see filming all over town.

Santa Clarita is known to be family friendly with top public schools. For higher education SCV offers College of the Canyons, University Center, Master’s College and California Institute of the Arts. Valley residents also commute to UCLA, USC and Cal State Northridge. After school residents find some of the best amenities available in Southern California. The city has a wide variety of recreation and community services. The city offers youth and adult classes in arts and sports at a low cost to current residents. Swim lessons, tennis lessons, youth and adult softball and basketball and with over 100 miles of dedicated bike paths you will always find low cost family fun activities.

The city of Santa Clarita has an abundant number of restaurants and shops. It is home to Six Flags Magic Mountain, The Cube – Ice and Entertainment Center operated by ASEC in partnership with the LA Kings, William S. Hart Park, Old Town Newhall with the Western Walk of Fame, Tesoro Adobe Park, Central Park, Summer time concerts in the park, and much more.
